A recent study has revealed some information that won't make balloon enthusiasts very happy - it looks like the Earth's supply of helium will be depleted in about 40 years!

While some scientists think the reports are incorrect and that we should have enough helium to last us another 300 years, others are convinced that growing rates of helium consumption will lead to all of it being lost to the atmosphere in a couple of decades.
